Delaware Botanic Gardens is offering 6 FREE tours aligned with the seasons of the gardens. The following tours are available this year:
5/30 – Late Spring Meadow Tour 2 pm – Enjoy the delights of a late Spring wild-flower meadow and learn how to balance a native garden with essential pollinator plants for Spring wildlife.
6/27 – Early Summer Meadow Tour 2 pm – Spring into Summer with a stroll through DBG’s designer meadow, focusing on the benefits of growing native plants and the pollinators they support.
7/25 – Summer Meadow Blooms and Pollinators Tour 11:30 am – Enjoy the scent of a summer meadow, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of DBG’s 2-acre meadow with a sensory tour of Piet Oudolf’s Meadow.
8/29 – Late Summer Meadow Tour 11:30 am – Meander through Delaware Botanic Gardens Meadow and observe plants as they share seeds, and learn how to collect and preserve seeds from your garden plants.
10/10, 10/24 – Fall Gardening for Wildlife Meadow Tour 2 PM – Join us for a return of this popular tour of Piet Oudolf Meadow discussing garden maintenance and featured plants essential for providing wildlife with a food source, and habitat for the 5th season.
Please note July and August's tours start at 11:30 am all other tours have 2 pm start times.
